Beats 360
Beats partnered with Ammunition to provide the industrial design for Beats 360, an all-new flagship over-ear headphone built around performance, comfort, and personal expression. The design introduces a new balanced-fit architecture and, for the first time from Beats, interchangeable ear and headband cushions that allow the headphone to adapt to different styles, activities, and ways of wearing it.
The industrial design began with the relationship between the headphone and the body. A slim, wireless-first headband allowed the architecture to be reworked around weight distribution, tension, and stability, creating a lighter, more balanced fit for extended wear. Sculpted earcups sit comfortably around the ear while maintaining the acoustic seal required for immersive sound. The fold-flat architecture makes the headphone easier to carry and supports a more active, everyday use case.
Interchangeable cushions extend that thinking into a system. Performance Knit combines memory foam with a breathable textile engineered for movement and durability, while UltraPlush provides a softer option for extended listening. Because both the earcup and headband cushions can be changed, material and color become functional parts of the product rather than permanent decisions.
The physical architecture also supports Beats’ most advanced over-ear acoustic system to date, including custom drivers, adaptive Active Noise Cancelling, Transparency mode, Personalized Spatial Audio, and nine integrated microphones. Beats 360 is also the first over-ear Beats headphone with IPX4 sweat and water resistance.
The result is a new expression of Beats over-ear design: one headphone designed to move through different parts of your day, and change with you along the way.
