Gantri

Most lighting is still tethered to walls and outlets. Gantri partnered with Ammunition to design a wireless lighting platform that allows light to move freely through homes, hospitality spaces, and everyday environments. As the spaces we live and gather in become more fluid, lighting is beginning to behave less like infrastructure and more like objects that move with us.

Drift
Ammunition developed conceptual narratives to guide the posture and character of each lighting family, each inspired by Californian coastal living. Drift is shaped by motion resolving into rest — forms that appear to have shifted, settled, and found balance over time. Like stones smoothed by a river, each piece feels arrived at, not engineered for effect.

Eave
Eave is inspired by the place below the roofline that catches and softens light — protective and open at once, somewhere between inside and out. Each piece draws from San Francisco's architectural landscape: the deep porches of Craftsman bungalows, the cornices of bright Victorians, the layered Peace Pagoda. Rope and rod handles emerge naturally from each form, reinforcing the idea of a light meant to be carried.

Every piece is manufactured on demand at Gantri's digital factory in California, from plant-based polymers — allowing the platform to grow without constraint.

Pier
Pier draws on California's relationship with water and the stillness found at the edge of it. A bold profile softened by a gentle interior curve allows light to emerge with clarity and restraint, bringing a calm architectural presence to the space it occupies.

Helia / Platform
At the center of the system is Helia — a shared internal architecture that powers every product in the collection. Helia houses the LED light engine, batteries, wireless electronics, and thermal system, connecting to a capacitive touch control module that integrates cleanly into any form. Multiple lighting typologies grow from the same technological core, while maintaining consistent brightness, runtime, and performance across the collection.

Charging System
Each light finds its home on a polished stainless steel charging puck. The puck remains connected to power while the lamp can be lifted, moved, and returned with a simple gesture. Self-aligning contacts guide the light into position, creating an intuitive charging ritual that works equally well in homes and hospitality environments. For commercial settings, a six-port charging tray allows multiple fixtures to charge simultaneously — purpose-built for restaurants and hotels.
